“Baria Higher Education Society (BHES)” was established in 1964 by the visionary late “Maharaja Jaideepsinghji of Baria (former MP & MLA)”, with a mission to provide accessible quality education to all, particularly the socially disadvantaged. Founded through generous donations from esteemed individuals, including “Late Maharaj Saheb, Late K. S. Shah, Dr. B. S. Soni, and Late Bhuraseth.” BHES has been a beacon of educational excellence in rural Baria for over five decades.

Today, the college proudly offers a diverse range of academic programs, comprising six undergraduate and five postgraduate courses, providing backward students with unparalleled opportunities for growth and development.

“Maharaja Tushar Sinhji” popularly known as “BABA SAHEB”  (former MLA), is an icon of youth and from Devgadh Baria. His vision is to make Devgadh Baria a center for excellence by giving priority to education the most.
